Ruff Wear Bark'n Boots Grip Trex
In anticipation of taking our Labrador hiking we decided she might benefit from a bit of protection for her paws. Thankfully, Ruff Wear offers dog boots of amazing quality! The soles of these boots are made by Vibram, the same company that made the soles of our hiking boots. The upper part of the boot is mesh, making it breathable and quick to dry. The boots are easy to put on and close up with a Velcro closure strap that keeps them in place. They also feature reflective trim for safety in low-light conditions.
Ruff Wear Palisades Pack
The Palisades Pack is a two-in-one product. It features the Ruff Wear Web Master Harness and a detachable saddle bag system.
The harness features foam-padded and fleece-lined chest and belly straps for superior comfort. Reflective trim makes the harness more visible in low-light situations. There is also a durable loop for attaching a leash. We found that while cross-country skiing, our Lab likes to pull and the harness distributes the force evenly around her body instead of her neck!
The pack attaches to the harness with four buckles. There is a 1-liter water bladder on each side of the pack. Not only does this provide your dog with water on long trips, it also acts as extra padding. Four external pockets feature waterproof zippers and reflective trim. External loops allow for extra gear to be carried.
The quality of the Palisades Pack is great and we expect to be using it for years to come!
