I even tried this skirt out on the trail backpacking and it sure passed the test. I have come to find, as have a lot of people, that hiking in a skirt is quite functional. It actually keeps you cooler than wearing smaller, constricting shorts.
I wore this skirt at Trail Days in VA and received so many compliments not only on how cute it was but more importantly how comfortable it looked. Flattery will get you everywhere- especially in my bag!
Women's Extreme Expedition Long Sleeve
Don’t leave home without this shirt! Whether backpacking, hiking, traveling, walking, or going out on the town, this is the all purpose shirt to bring. Besides being great looking, it is packable with Dri X-treme mesh lined collar band and vented back yoke. The hook & loop secure document pockets and zip secure front pocket make it ideal for those valuables, and the button roll up sleeve tabs modified shirt tail with side vents allows us to stay comfortable in all weather. When we backpack, everyone is always amazed at how cool and well rested we look. It may be an illusion, but it sure helps make it through another day.
One of our testers travels to Denmark for an extended stay to visit her daughter and family. There is a limited amount of clothing she can take, so she is always looking for the perfect travel pant. These are not only great looking, but have all the extras for travel. She loved the material, a combination of nylon and spandex, that does not look or feel like stretch, but very flattering, and never needed ironing. The style is dressy casual, for various activities. She especially loved the zipped privacy pockets for her valuables. She tested black and found she used them for just about every activity.
Anyone who walks, hikes, camps, or backpacks are probably familiar with zip and go pants but what makes Royal Robbins pants stand out is the extra care in the fit and the added features. It is hard to see where the zipper because the seam is smooth. The women’s pants have a little elastic on the waistband so no belt is needed. These are the only pants that have Velcro openings at the bottom of the leg, so we had no problems getting them off without taking our hiking boots off. We love to use these for all sports because we know that if it is cool in the morning, it might get hot as the day goes on. We have found these perfect for those 18 holes of golf and then the 19th hole.
This tester loved the outside, but also wants to look and feel good. Style is important, but the tester was very excited about the fit. He was surprised that these could fit someone who was 6’5” and thin. These looked great on the trail and at dinner. He fell in love with the gusseted crotch, articulated knees for extra comfort, and light, breathable, quick drying pants.
The Summer Hoodie by Royal Robbins is a perfect light hoodie for the cooler summer days. It is made with our soft organic cotton jersey and layers well with any cami's or tanks. It is one of the layering pieces that you always throw in, just in case, but secretly can’t wait to put on.
It has a stylish cowl neck and slightly flared sleeve so even though it is an over the head piece it is and easy on/easy off. But every time I put it on I don’t want to take it off!
Men's hydro water shorts
When it is time to hit the water, the Men's Hydro Water Shorts dry fast and are light around my waist. 100% nylon with a mesh liner, they are a great swim trunk. They also include a zip closure storage pocket.
